First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct eight services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.”

ministry assistant

The part-time Ministry Assistant will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following responsibilities:

HOURS: Monday through Thursday; Approx. 8AM-1PM; At least one Sunday per month; Approx. 20 hours per week.

PRINCIPLE FUNCTION – Responsible to the Student Pastors to provide secretarial support to the Ministry Team including Associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide secretarial support to the Ministry Team
  • Attends weekly ministry meetings

ministry assistant/COMMUNICATIONS

The full-time Ministry Assistant will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following responsibilities:

HOURS: Monday through Thursday, 8AM-5PM | Friday 9AM-12PM; Approx. 35 hours per week. 

PRINCIPLE FUNCTION- Reports to the Office Manager and provides support for a variety of ministries including but not limited to Deacons, Church Staff, Communications and more.

campus student ministries pastor

The next Campus Student Ministries Pastor will be a dynamic leader who seeks to pastor the middle school and high school students in the church. This pastor should reach out to the middle schools in the area and one of the largest High Schools in the state, just 11 blocks from the campus, and bring them into a love relationship with Jesus Christ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a dynamic communicator with a teaching gift. He must demonstrate a historical-grammatical process of understanding Scripture, have a strong biblical and theological background, and teach in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
  • Develop and execute ministry goals that align with our Discipleship Process of Come, Connect, Grow, Serve, and Go.
  • Recruit, train and shepherd LIFE Group volunteers.
