Facilities Director

First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct eight services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.” The full-time position will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following objectives and responsibilities:

Objective:

  • To oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of the facilities at all campuses and ministries of FBC Rogers.
  • To supervise a team consisting of facilities managers, groundskeepers, and custodians.

 Background:

FBC Rogers currently operates in almost 250,000 sf of facility space in two locations in the city of Rogers. These facilities range from brand new to over 50 years old.  FBC Rogers also operates an elementary school as one of its ministries.

  • This position is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Typical work hours are Sunday-Thursday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, however, the responsibilities of this position may at times require work outside of this typical schedule.

 Essential Responsibilities of the Facilities Director:

  • A commitment to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through regular spiritual disciplines and participation in the discipleship process of FBC Rogers.
  • Oversight of the maintenance of the facilities of FBC Rogers including, but not limited to, the following:
    • Maintaining maintenance and repair contracts for the HVAC systems.
    • Coordinating electrical and plumbing repairs.
    • Overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of the grounds.
    • Overseeing the maintenance of church vehicles and trailers.

Ministry Coordinator

HOURS: Monday-Thursday; 8AM-5PM; Friday 9AM-12PM. 
Pleasant Grove Campus

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for:
    • First Connections
    • Deacon Ministry
    • New members
    • Church Staff
    • Volunteer Receptionists
    • Senior Pastor’s Office
  • ACS database: attendance tracking, follow-up, and running reports
  • Budgets and credit card info: calculate and communicate budget status and audit actual to budget results
  • Planning Center: entering, updating, and managing event information
  • Reception Desk: recruit, train, and coordinate volunteer receptionists

Full-Time Custodian

First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct eight services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.” The part-time custodian will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work hours are 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday
  • Reports to the Head Custodian for the PG Campus, who is responsible for the direction of housekeeping services for First Baptist Church of Rogers
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture: sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets, and trash containers; clean restrooms, refill restroom dispensers; replace light bulbs, clean windows sills, clean interior windows
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures, following all labels, and using all cleaning products as directed and labeled
