ABOUT FIRST STUDENTS

At First Baptist Rogers Student Ministry (First Students) we strive to reach out and get students to COME by providing weekly, quality, hands-on ministry and CONNECT in our LIFE Groups where they can GROW spiritually and begin to SERVE wherever they are as we encourage them to GO and reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Wednesdays: Vertical 514/Apex 514 are our Wednesday night programs for students. Named for Matthew 5:14, "a city on a hill cannot be hidden."  We want our student ministry to be a city on a hill that is reaching all students in NWA. This is an opportunity for students to engage in Christian community, worship, games, and teaching. Wednesday night activities take a break from regular meeting during the summer. Returns August 21, 2024.

Sundays: LIFE Groups are when our students can grow much deeper and learn more about Christ. They are essential to seeing students grow in their relationship with God. Adult leaders impact the lives of students through Biblical teaching and discussion.

Serve with student ministry

Student Ministry opportunities are in abundance! You can help with the snack shop, teach a LIFE Group, volunteer for cookouts, and more!  You can review our child protection practices here to understand some of our expectations with regard to serving in any area of ministry that works with minors. 

The following application is if you are new to volunteering with the ministry. This is not a background check.  That can be found at the bottom of our serve page and should only be completed once a ministry leader instructs you to do so.
