Help provide information and opportunities to prepare music interns for ministry.
• Research and discuss theological concepts that pertain to corporate worship
• Plan worship services (kids, students, and adults)
• Participate in helping lead worship services
• Help plan and prepare a worship band rehearsal
• Help plan and prepare to lead an orchestra rehearsal
• Help plan and prepare for Worship Singers rehearsal (notation, rhythms, dynamics, etc.)
• Learn how to plan for and direct a choir in a rehearsal environment
• Help design and set up worship platforms at PG and OS for both MS and HS
• Invest multiple hours in musical training and discipling students through Student Creative
• Prepare and help instruct for Tunesdays
• Worship Media
o Understanding about audio (both in live and recorded settings)
o Lunch and learn with Michael Curtis
o Understanding about lighting (both in live and recorded settings)
o Understanding of both Prime and Abelton Live programs
o Create a playlist in both
o Understanding about visual worship
• Interview 6 Worship Pastors (2 small, 2 medium, 2 large)
o Worship Ministry assigns who and what to ask
• Read through Spiritual Leadership, Whatever Happened to Worship, Sing!
• Pick 2 Books to Read and Present Overview to Worship Ministry Team

• Read and discuss multiple chapters from various books, and then discuss each week
o Including, but not limited to “The Heart of the Artist”, Worship Matters, Called to Worship, and Art in the Bible
• Understanding of Christian hymnody, both history and modern relevance
• Review key scriptural passages each week on worship throughout scripture (Gen. to Rev.)
• Discussion about music in corporate worship
• Create a script for communications in worship with media
