Preschool Ministry Mission Statement

The First Baptist Rogers Preschool Ministry mission is to partner with families to plant the seed for a growing faith in Christ and to instill a lifelong love for learning about Jesus, for all children in our care.

Ephesians 1:18 We pray that the eyes of children’s hearts may begin to be enlightened, so that they will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe.

Preschool Ministry Summer Intern Job Summary

The Preschool Ministry Intern will work with the Preschool Director to provide ministry support to the Preschool Ministry Team by using their skills and talents while learning and developing personally, spiritually and professionally for future ministry calling or professional opportunity.

1) Preschool Ministry Communication (Newsletter, Email, Mailings, Social Media)

2) Volunteer Partnerships (Recruiting, Training, Scheduling & Coordinating, Encouraging, Developing)

3) Parent Partnerships (Welcome Center, First Impressions, Check-in/out & Security Systems, Managing Difficult Conversations)

4) Programming (Weekly Sunday Morning Life Group Schedule, Awana, Childcare during Ministry Events)

5) Preschool Curriculum (Using Gospel Project for Preschoolers, plan and teach lessons as needed for Infant through Kindergarten age Life Groups & Worship)

6) Attend weekly church staff and/or Preschool Team meetings, as appropriate

7) Preschool Classroom Environments (Purchasing of furnishings and supplies, Inventory checklists)

8) Administrative tasks (Attendance Reports, Calendar & Planning, Preschool Ministry Budget)
