Our Global Impact Celebration is a powerful week that brings our church family face-to-face with what God is doing around the world. We’ll welcome missionaries and partners from across the globe to share how the gospel is transforming lives in their communities. Through special events, stories, and experiences, you’ll see firsthand what missions looks like; both abroad and at home.

This week isn’t just about hearing what God is doing; it’s about discovering your role in it. Whether it’s through praying, giving, going, or even surrendering your life to full-time missions, GIC is your doorway to join in what God is doing through First Baptist Rogers.

6:30pm - IMB Sending Celebration*

IMB President, Paul Chitwood will join us for a rare opportunity to host a Sending Celebration. This exciting event will feature worship, testimonies, and more. During the celebration, we will be praying for and commissioning the newest fully funded missionaries being sent to present the gospel among the nations.

*Childcare is available for infants through kindergarten starting at 6:15pm. No registration required.

11:30am - Women's Luncheon

Ladies are invited to join us in the Worship Center of the Pleasant Grove Campus for a luncheon. We will have missionaries speaking and a women's mission panel.

11:30am - Men's Luncheon

Men are invited to join us in the Student Worship Room of the Pleasant Grove Campus for a luncheon. We will have missionaries speaking and a men's mission panel.

5pm - Missions Fair

Missionaries will be set up in the commons area of our Pleasant Grove campus. You'll be able to visit each missionary and learn more about their region and the work they are doing.

5pm - International Food Fair

During the Missions Fair, be sure to stop by the various tables offering a sampling of food from regions around the room.

6:30pm - Missions Celebration Service*

Our Worship Team will lead us in a time of worship and prayer followed by presentations from our Missions Team and the guest missionaries that have joined us from around the globe.

9pm - Underground Church (Students grades 6-12) (ends at 1am)

Students are invited into a powerful, immersive experience that brings global missions to life. During this special Underground Church event, our Pleasant Grove Campus will transform into a third-world marketplace and house-church setting, giving students a glimpse into what life is like for believers around the world.
From navigating a global marketplace to worshiping in environments where following Jesus comes with real risk, students will experience what it means to live out faith in places where Christianity isn’t openly welcomed. This interactive night is designed to stretch perspectives, deepen compassion, and help students better understand the cost and calling of the gospel.

2pm - Mission Trip Interest Meeting

Join us in the Student Worship Room at our Pleasant Grove Campus as Pastor Steve Ellis shares about the 2026 Mission Trips. You'll hear from many of our missionary partners that you'll be working with on the ground on each trip.

5:30pm - LIFE Group Socials*

In place of our normal LIFE Group socials, we will have missionaries joining you. Location of LIFE Group socials will vary depending on group. Connect with your LIFE Group leader for more specific details. If a group does not have a missionary assigned for a social, you will have the opportunity on Sunday, February 8 to visit with your missionary during LIFE Group.

*Childcare will be available for infants through kindergarten from 5-8pm for $8/child ($24 maximum fee). Registration is required.
