Ladies Study - On Philemon | September 10-October 29
RegisterTuesdays 9a-11a |Olive Street Campus
September 10-October 29
Paul's message to Philemon was a simple one: based on the work of love and forgiveness that had been wrought in Philemon's heart by God, show the same to the escaped and now-believing slave Onesimus. The theme of Philemon is the power of the gospel to transform lives (“formerly he was useless” but “now he is indeed useful,” Philemon 11) and to impact human relationships (receive him “no longer as a bondservant [or slave] but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother,” Philemon 16).
