Passage: Exodus 2:1-10

Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the length Amram’s life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.  Exodus 6:20

What is a mother’s worship?

Choose you this day who you will serve.  As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord  Joshua 24:15

She  chose the LORD for her worship.

She chose life for her child.

What is a mother’s work?

9 Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him.

A mother’s work is love.

These three remain, faith, hope, love and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

A mother’s work involves faith.

Love . . .believes all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4, 7

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s edict. Hebrews 11:23

A mother’s work involves hope.

Love. . .hopes all things.  1 Corinthians 13:4, 7

What are a mother’s wages?

She had the privilege of loving.

She had the privilege of sacrificing.

She had the privilege of influence.
