God For Us: Hope in God's Providence

We can have confidence in God.

“We know. . .”

And we know that God . . .causes all things to work together for good

Who we know impacts how we live.

And we know that God . . .

This is true in the company we keep on a human level but it is especially true to who we know and how well we know who we know on a spiritual level.

What we know impacts how we live.

Who we love impacts how we live.

It is not enough to just know God; 

We can rest in the providence of God.

“that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

. . .that God causes all things to work together for good

Most literal reading is all things work together for good.

That God causes (implied not in the text) “God causes” is not in the original text but is understood in either case that God is the One Who is causing all this to work together.
