First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct eight services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.” The part-time Custodian will fulfill the following responsibilities:

HOURS: Sunday through Wednesday, afternoons and evenings flex schedule. 


  • Reports to the Head Custodian for the PG Campus, who is responsible for the direction of housekeeping services for First Baptist Church of Rogers
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture: sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets, and trash containers; clean restrooms, refill restroom dispensers; replace light bulbs, clean windows sills, clean interior windows
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures, following all labels and using all cleaning products as directed and labeled
  • Assist with the setup of facilities to accommodate meetings, activities, and events
  • Perform routine maintenance on all floors, including but not limited to strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors as directed
  • Use and maintain all equipment and tools per manufacturer instructions, church policies, and procedures
  • Lock and unlock building as assigned, secure building per procedures, report any unauthorized occupants
  • Perform activities as assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to: snow removal, removal of debris from walkways; move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, staff prayer meetings, team celebrations, and other meetings/events as directed by the Head Custodian
  • Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: interpersonal skills, attention to detail, follow directions, comprehension of instruction, organization, and basic reading, writing and speaking in English


  • There will be a 90-day probationary period. The personnel policies of FBC-Rogers outlines all personnel policies for the church and should be referenced


  • Quality, quantity, and timeliness of assigned activities performed
  • Responsiveness to directions
  • Relationship with church personnel and attendees
