Mission Trip to Rio Blanco, Nicaragua January 2013

Working with Voice of Hope Ministries.

Description of Trip:
There will be one group divided into two teams. One construction and one medical. We have two doctors, one nurse and one pharmacist. Medical supplies and medicine to be obtained through the MAP organization. The trip is open to any adult if they feel led to go, but they must fully understand that this is a more difficult trip than normal.

Dates of Trip:
Saturday, January 19th through Saturday January 26th, 2013.
Arrive in Managua on Saturday the 19th and stay in a hotel near the airport.
Sunday travel to Rio Blanco
Monday through Thursday morning we will work in the remote areas.
Thursday noon travel back to Managua.
Friday will be a free day
Saturday the 26th travel back to XNA

Location:
Rio Blanco, Nicaragua
Remote location, North and East of Managua about 4 hours depending on road conditions.

Cost of Trip:
The cost of the trip is about $2000.00 leaving from XNA

Skill Set:
Medical- Doctors, Nurses, Medical technicians willing to perform what Mike Hulsey refers to as Significant Touches to people in the areas we are traveling to.
Construction- People with a background and experience using basic hand tools and willing to do manual labor.
Cook – Someone willing or interested in cooking for the group.
