Total Worship Student Ministry

Beginning Sunday September 13th with Middle School meeting from 4-5 and High School meeting from 5-6pm. Come Worship through Song!

Total Worship is multi-faceted youth music ministry that’s full of high octane music as well as discipleship and music ministry outreach. Total Worship consists of grades 6-12 and includes Youth Ensemble, Total Worship Choir, Axis, Sunday Night Worship Teams, and Youth Music Events. Students are challenged to completely surrender themselves to our Lord Jesus Christ and develop worship skills through Youth Music. They receive teaching and obtain knowledge of how to effectively and completely worship through music. Students take themselves out of the equation and make it totally about God. Feel free to come join us every Sunday at 5:00 pm for Total Worship.

Axis

Beginning Saturday September 12th at 6pm in the high school room with a concert, food and games and classes begin Sunday September 13th with Middle School meeting from 4-5 and high school meeting from 5-6.

Axis is a series of classes that promotes and disciples youth to help them prepare to lead through music in the church. Classes are free and help train youth in their chosen instrument. Whether it’s vocal or instrumental, students receive a lesson of how to play and effectively lead in worship through their instruments of choice. Axis is from 4:00 – 5:00 every Sunday. Come and see what instrument fits you and find out where you fit in Youth Worship.

Youth Service to Worship

Youth Worship is opportunities for youth to put Total Worship Choir, Youth Ensemble, and Axis into practice. Merge is our Wednesday night youth worship service where students are able to help lead in worship through song. Student emphasized Sunday nights are also a way for kids to display the skills and knowledge they have obtained through Total Worship and Axis. These are perfect opportunities to get involved if you haven’t gotten plugged into Total Worship yet.

Solid Rock Cafe

                                 

Solid Rock Café is an outreach opportunity for students involved in Youth Music Ministry. This event combines all aspects of music and intertwines them into a coffee shop feel. We have several events of entertainment and the plan of salvation is presented through the arts. This is a great way of letting our youth lead in outreach to our community of youth around us. Look for promos and signs of our next Solid Rock Café in the fall of 08-09. FBC Idol is coming soon!

Youth Ensemble

Youth Ensemble is an auditioned or select group of high school students that form a live band and ensemble. They are used as a ministry outreach that travels and shares the love of Christ to our surrounding areas and churches. They have a mission of sharing the word of Christ to all and making a joyful song unto the Lord. Our hope is to truly demonstrate what it truly means to worship through music.
