Christian School
First Baptist Rogers Christian School is an Elementary School for Grades Kindergarten thru 5th Grades. All teachers are degreed in Elementary Education and possess an Arkansas Teaching Certificate. The Otis Lennon Ability Test is given to asses ability to succeed in school and the Stanford National Achievement Test is given to assess pupil progress.
A full day Kindergarten class is being added for 2007/2008. The traditional half-day kindergarten will continue to serve those parents wanting a 8:15 – 11:30 program. Both half and full day curriculum will meet states standards.
The Shining Stars Preschool, founded in 1969, is also accepting applications for openings in their 1⁄2 day 3 and 4 year old program as well as a Bridge class for older 4’s.
The philosophy for both the Elementary and Preschool is to teach and train children through a Christ centered curriculum which includes weekly Chapel, Art, Music, and P.E. Academically stimulating curriculum are utilized in this challenging environment.
