Every Marriage is unique, expressed by the colorful personalities of each spouse and textured by the circumstances at play in their lives. Blending these to make marriage work is a divinely inspired art form — challenging to master but definitely worth the effort.

During The Art of Marriage Series, you will experience biblically-centered teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes and more to portray both the challenges and the beauty of God's design. Ministry leaders such as Dennis and Barbara Rainey, Voddie Baucham, Russell Moore, Crawford Loritts and others provide the expert teaching while couples who have struggled and overcome openly and honestly share their stories of pain, loss, forgiveness, and grace.

In this six-week study of the Book of Numbers, we’ll find a group of people that wandered in the desert for forty years, unable to enter the Promised Land because of their complaining, grumbling, and lack of faith. The New Testament tells us that their story was written to warn us (1 Corinthians 10:6) so that we would not make the same mistakes and suffer the same consequences. God sent his only Son to die to buy our freedom from the sin that leads to discontentment, and we find our own promised land of peace and contentment in the life he gives us.

By exploring Numbers we can come to identify the reasons for our complaining, learn contentment while being authentic about the difficulties of life, accept short-term hardship in light of the greater good of God’s ultimate deliverance, recognize the relationship between complaining and worry, and discover how to realign with God’s character and promises.

Her Journey: Ruth stood on the road between Moab and Bethlehem and considered two very different lives. A life that had been and a life that could be. The choice she made echoes down to our age. Ruth’s story is riveting. It is full of heartbreak, loss, healing, and soul-deep restoration. Throughout her story, we see how Ruth chose to follow the One True God and to trust Him even when life did not make sense. Our Journey: Daily we stand in the middle of our roads and make decisions that shape our lives. Sometimes the choices are made during moments of difficulty and pain. Other times the choices are made during moments of clarity and calm. No matter the road that we face, we can know that God is in control and that He has a plan for our lives. In this book, we will study the story of Ruth. Along the way, we will examine our own stories. Come along on this journey and discover how you can live a life that honors God through: * The right set of beliefs * Christ-like character qualities * An eternal perspective during uncertain times
