FBCS PRINCIPAL OVERVIEW

First Baptist Christian School Elementary/Middle School Principal and Preschool Director will plan, direct, and coordinate the academic, administrative, and auxiliary activities in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures adopted by the Board and aligned with the overall mission of the First Baptist Rogers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer FBCS in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures adopted by the board in direct alignment with the overall mission of the church. 
  • Facilitate the work of the board and NBCA administration by the submission of requested reports, documents, suggested policies, etc. for the operation of NBCA. 
  • Provide leadership in the accomplishment of the spiritual mission of FBCS. 
  • Direct the daily operation of the school through supervision of staff, coordination of activities, and setting the tone for a quality educational program. 
  • Manage personnel affairs including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating administrators, faculty, and staff. 
  • Establish clear lines of authority, assign personnel, and develop job descriptions.

Media Specialist Video Overview

First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct seven services each week at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.” The Media Specialist will have the following qualifications, education, and experience to fulfill the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and schedule volunteers on a weekly basis for worship service coverage
  • Provide direct leadership as the program director for live video production
  • Create weekly countdown and promo spots for worship services and social media
  • Provide audio, video, and lighting support for events and worship services as across all campuses
  • Manage video gear maintenance, storage, and inventory across all campuses
  • Work alongside volunteers and build quality relationships with volunteers
  • Work with existing staff and volunteers to provide cross-training to improve the ministry team

  • Set-up and tear down venues/classrooms as necessary for LIFE Groups, events, and worship services
  • Provide audio and lighting support for events and worship services as across all campuses
  • Manage lighting gear maintenance, storage, and inventory across all campuses
  • Work alongside volunteers and build quality relationships with volunteers
  • Work with existing staff and volunteers to provide cross-training to improve the ministry team

MINISTRY ASSISTANT | EVENT PLANNER OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide ministry support for:
    First Connections
    Deacon Ministry
    New members
    Church Staff
    Senior Pastor’s Office

  • ACS database: attendance tracking, follow-up, and running reports
  • Budgets and credit card info: communicate budget status, including submitting credit card expense reports and ensure that receipts are applied to the proper accounts

Worship Ministry Coordinator

The part-time Worship Ministry Coordinator (WMC) will be the first point of contact with people who reach out to the worship ministry whether by phone, digitally or in person.    The WMC will manage the Worship Pastor’s calendar, set up appointments, scheduling singers and band members, note-taking during meetings, help assist with communication to volunteers, and help continue efficiency in worship ministry at both Pleasant Grove and Olive Street campuses.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to interact positively with external clientele, including volunteers, and guests, using a high degree of tact, diplomacy, discretion, flexibility, respect, and courtesy in gesture and speech.  
  • Coordinate/create emails to volunteers
  • Screen or direct visitors as needed

IT DIRECTOR OVERVIEW

First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct seven services each week at three different campuses for over 2,500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations, and our process of discipleship is “come, connect, grow, serve, and go.”

The Director of Information Technology will oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout the church, working closely with staff to assess and address user needs. Areas of responsibility include the full range of information systems and telecommunications activities, including determining user requirements, helpdesk ticketing process and solutions, recommending practical solutions, and leading church-wide efforts to improve the effective use of technology. 

This position reports to the Administration Pastor. Other principal working relationships include the Directional staff, all system users, school staff, vendors, and consultants.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, laptops, desktops, tablets, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals.
  2. Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.
  3. Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
  4. Work with directional staff to develop strategies and plans to enhance member services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation.
