Our Mission

At First Baptist Rogers, our mission is to make disciples of all the nations. With our mission in mind, we prayerfully consider everything we do through our discipleship process: Come, Connect, Grow, Serve, and Go.

Within our process, we see the calling of every believer and the outpouring of everything we do as a church. Whether you are wanting to find out more about Jesus and the church, are a new believer, or are somewho who has been a Christian for most of your life, there is a place for you here.

From the teaching of our pastor, studying the Bible in LIFE Groups, rocking little ones in the preschool ministry, and even to the greeting you receive from guest services, we believe everything centers on God's glory and our obedience to Him.

We encourage you to explore our ministries and get to know our church. You are welcome and we want you to come, connect with us, grow in your faith, serve in the church body, and go reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Baptism

We observe baptism as an ordinance of the church in obedience to the direct command of Jesus Christ in the Great Commission. Jesus Christ was baptized. Baptism is symbolic of death and resurrection. Baptism has no saving power, but is very important as obedience, a testimony and identification with Christ and other believers. If you are interested in becoming baptized by our church, fill out this form.

Online Baptism Request

Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances, which are acts of obedience that communicate the death, burial, and the power of the resurrected life of Jesus Christ
