Frequently Asked Questions
Where Do I Park?
We reserve parking for first time visitors in the south parking lot, right outside the Sanctuary. Just look for the signs, or ask a parking volunteer for assistance.
How Do I Dress?
Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their "Sunday best," most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don't worry about what you wear--just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship!
What Do I Bring?
A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Our Pastor, Dr. Wes George, refers to the Bible often during his messages. If you don't have a Bible, or forgot to bring your Bible, Bibles are available in the Sanctuary pews.
When Do I Need To Arrive?
Sunday services begin at 8:00, 9:30, & 11:00 a.m. Sunday Bible Study hours are at 8:00, & 9:30 (See A Complete Schedule). Arrive fifteen minutes before your desired worship/Bible study time to allow for parking traffic.
Where Do My Children Go?
FBC Rogers has excellent preschool and children's ministries. Greeters are just inside our entrances fifteen minutes before every service and our volunteers will assist you in getting your children to their class or department. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 5 years. Your children (grades K-2) won't want to miss Kids Church (See our schedule for details). Sunday Bible Study classes are offered for all ages.
What About Child Security?
We take child security seriously at FBC. Each child must be registered at either the Preschool Welcome Desk or the Children's Welcome Desk upstairs before entering a Sunday School class. A security slip is given to the parent and must be presented at departure for preschool. Additional security measures and personnel are on campus to ensure the safety of every attendee.
What’s The Music Style?
We love to say that our music style is not contemporary, blended or traditional...IT'S AUTHENTIC. We believe that this is what makes us unique in our approach to the large group worship time.
However, if you needed to classify our music style, it would be blended with a contemporary edge. Our prayer is that we help move past the "sound" to the "soundness" of what we do. Come experience the FBC worship experience and you can see for yourself, or you can listen to some excerpts from our last Christmas recording.
